Hanspeter Rothmund
Sport & Business
Football has played a major role in his entire life. As a graduate of the most elite football academy in Switzerland, Hanspeter turned professional in 1982, when he was 22 years old. Having enjoyed a successful start to his football career at a professional football club before he had the unfortunate event of a career ending injury.
This set back ignited a fire in him from where he went onto help young football players to achieve their potential. After achieving his UEFA Pro-License in 1990 he was spurred on to his ultimate success by winning the Swiss championship title with the U-16 National Team of Liechtenstein.
SPI (Sport Project Implementation) AG was established in 2012 to organise the pre-season training camps for more than 8 years for different clubs from Liverpool FC to Werder Bremen, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Polish National Team, Greek National Team, Spanish National Team and Portuguese National Team.
Hanspeter’s passion and commitment to youth development was further enhanced when, 10 years ago, he founded the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation (FIM). Today the Foundation works together with some of the most prestigious football clubs in Europe.
Prof. Dr. Jürgen Buschmann
Education & Business
Prof. Dr. Jürgen Buschmann, was a lecturer at the German Sport University Cologne until 2014. At the German Sport University he was the Head of the Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) and the Department of Match Analyses in Soccer. He played and coached in the highest amateur league in Germany (3rd Division) and is the holder of several DFB coaching licenses:
From 2005 until 2015 he worked for the coaching staff of the German National Team in the field of Game Analysis and Scouting and collaborated with several clubs of the German Bundesliga.
He created the worldwide first Master Study in „Match Analyses“ and as the author of more than 500 books and essays in the area of Soccer, Olympic Movement and Health Education, he has adequately demonstrated his technical and professional competence. At the International Football Institute he currently works as a project-related expert, primarily in the field of training and education development.
Amongst others he is responsible for the Studies in Scouting; received several Prizes such as the German Health Award, is Member at many Federations, and founding Member of the Foundation FOOTBALL IS MORE.
